Membership
Membership is open to everyone who is concerned about Florida’s aquatic ecosystems, flood control, irrigation systems, and aquatic-based recreation. Membership runs from January 1st through December 31st. Memberships paid for at the FAPMS Annual Conference expire December 31st of the following year.
Benefits of membership include:
- Quarterly issues of Aquatics magazine that addresses all subjects related to aquatic ecosystems as well as aquatic plant management.
- Quarterly issues of the Society's Newsletter that summarizes current events in aquatic plant management and the Society's happenings.
- Notification of public workshops and meetings about aquatic plant control.
- An annual three-day conference in October where 350-400 aquatic plant managers from across Florida share the latest information and plant management techniques.
- Eligibility for dependent scholarship after three consecutive years as a member.
